If you find the canvas overly cluttered, or just want to narrow down your search (without the more specific search features), you can temporarily apply filters.

Filters also affect the Share tool in some cases, making it so that only visible concepts will be shared. When viewing series, ideas hidden by the current filter will be made temporarily visible when they are encountered in a series.

In the context pane, when nothing in a playpen is selected (tap the canvas – or the 0 key – to deselect everything), you’ll notice the following three visibility options:

Full

All concepts and links are visible.

Topic

Only topics and links between topics are visible.

Statement

Only links between statements are visible.
