Entering & Leaving Playpens

Unless visiting someone’s profile, Polylude defaults to the playpen view, which offers varied means of interacting with and narrating ideas.

Whereas the island view (reached by tapping the Hex button, doing touch screen ‘pinch’ gestures, scrolling down, tapping End, or holding Pg Down) will be centered on a single, ‘focused’ hex of a given ‘island’, each island corresponding to a Polylude user. And each island is composed of hexes, one for each of the user’s playpens, plus a central ‘hub’ hex.

Focus is shifted by tapping on an unfocused hex, or by the various keyboard arrow keys. Once focused on a playpen you wish to enter, either tap the hex, Enter, do touch screen ‘squeeze’ gestures, scrolling up, or holding Pg Up.
