Layout of a Profile
The Hub Bio, and its surrounding playpens
The Island View shows the current profile. When the central ‘hub’ hex is in focus, any biographical information the profile’s owner has shared will appear in the context pane.
This may include their:
- Display Name
- User Name, by which to reach their profile
- Shared location
- Biographic description
Surrounding that central hub is an index of the profile’s playpens. Nearness to the hub hints at how recently each was updated.
When connected and viewing your own profile, tapping on the central hub will create a new playpen. For other profiles, tapping the hub will bring it in focus. The first tap on a surrounding hex will shift focus, and the second will open the focused playpen.
From a loaded playpen, tapping the Hex button (or End) will return to the profile it belongs to.
When multiple profiles are open, that hex button will also be visible in Island View, and tapping it will rotate between open profiles. You can also reach a profile directly through the ‘Profiles’ dialog, launched from the account pane menu when in Island View.
If the current profile’s owner has set a username, you’ll find a shareable link to their profile in the browser location bar.
