Upgrading and Downgrading Plans
Upgrading doesn't touch existing playpens. Suggest care when downgrading. A how-to, with what to expect.
How To
Open your subscription settings and tap ‘Compare plans’.
You will see a table of the available plans, their prices, and their perks.
When you are at a lower tier, there will be an ‘Upgrade’ button beside the higher tier. When at a higher tier, the lower tier shows a ‘Downgrade’ button.
For an inactive subscription, tapping the button will switch plans immediately.
Otherwise, you’ll get a chance to review what will happen when you upgrade. Especially if downgrading, see below for more on this.
When downgrading…
Please be aware of the following effects when the capabilities of a higher tier are lost.
In downgrading to a Player Subscription:
- Private playpens: All the account’s private playpens will immediately be made public.
- Custom series: All custom series from the account’s playpens — both public and private — will be deleted. If you think you might upgrade again later and would like to restore these series, you can download a backup.
Besides these potential changes to your content, the cost of any unused time at the current tier will be credited to your account balance.
When upgrading…
The amount paid from account funds, and the amount (if any) charged to your payment method will be listed when you review the upgrade.
Your playpens will be left untouched when upgrading (besides to complete any action triggering the upgrade, such as to make a playpen private, or creating a series).
