About Playpens
A different kind of document.
Brainstorming is when people come together to inspire each-other’s ideas. Given the space to play with ideas, we can reach perspectives hard or impossible to find on our own.
Often this will occur early in a project, followed by more formal documenting of any conclusions.
Polylude uses ‘playpens’ so that play can continue on.
Each playpen has a name, and can be either public or – with a Premier Subscription – private.
You decide which concepts and links appear in your playpens, and how they are connected. Any playpen can build on specific concepts and links from any other public playpen.
Using these connections, you can get a better sense of the context informing your and others’ perspectives, and a glimpse at not just what people think but also how they think. We present some basic statistics on playpens and selections in the context pane.
Spotted some mistakes? While concepts and links aren’t kept on your account until saving, their contents may be freely updated at any time.
